FRESHLY BARKED!

We have been babysitting Jonathan's sisters dog (Otis) for the past week and couldn't resist making him a delicious SHORTBREAD treat too! And of course we would use peanut butter to do it! As I was trying to take these pictures (mind you this is very uncharacteristic of otis) he jumped up on the photo table and grabbed one! Normally I would get mad but ahhh so cute!! Otis loves SHORTBREAD too!!

Lickin his lips after some scrumptious peanut butter... I bet he's thinkin... "how can I distract her to snatch another one??"

  4. Aww, those look absolutely fantastic! I am jealous! I've actually really been interested in baking doggie treats lately, so this is quite an inspiration :-) I have an old pooch myself, age 11, she's a mutt, cross between a chow and a german shepherd. She looooves to eat and actually quite obese (oops)

  5. There's not just one, but our two silly pound puppies. They are both Great Pyrenees mix. One really is a puppy at 16 weeks, but he weighs 55 pounds! Yikes!

  7. Adorable! The two puppies in my life are two adopted retired racing greyhounds, Casey, 4, and Bella, 3. They are the cutest couple in the world. 45 mile-per-hour couch potatoes for sure!

  8. Aw, how cute. We had a lab named Otis named after Otis the drunk from the Andy Griffith show. He didn't walk in a sober manner on floors that didn't have carpet, hence the name.

  10. What a cutie pie! Our dogs are complete suckers for treats. The lady who lives downstairs always gives them "yummies" when we take them outside. When she isn't home,, they will stop by her door and wait a bit in anticipation of a treat!
