Hamburgers for Dessert?

I made these a couple years ago and every time since I have always forgotten to take pictures so when I got a few orders for BBQ season I thought this was a perfect opportunity to capture the fun! These are super easy to make and a great kids activity for Memorial day or Father's day! All you need is vanilla cupcacakes, chocolate cupcakes, red & yellow frosting, sesame seeds and coconut died green (cute toothpick optional). Enjoy and happy memorial day weekend!

Would You Like Hummus with That?

This blog post is dedicated to my best friend Yael who is making us all proud at Medical School in Israel. So I ask you... what better sums up the culinary experience in Israel other than shawarma, falafel, hummus and kebabs?! And who ever said you can have have a CAKE KEBAB... and eat it too?? A little buttercream hummus never hurt anyone! But don't worry... It's just chocolate cake, strawberries (as tomatoes of course) and some good ole'fashioned vanilla buttercream to "SHMEAR"! Betay'avon!

A shmear of this, a shmear of that... and of course you can't forget a little shprinkling of "zataar" :D
